Premium Packing is a third generation Farm Labor Contractor that started with the goal of supplying companies with field labor in 1951. As with the origins of most family-owned companies, the original founder(s) worked extremely hard to earn a living and to insure the success of the business so that some day their offspring would continue the family business. Jesse Alderete Sr started our company and Jesse II successfully grew the business to what it is today. Now, his offspring serve as owners & partners of Premium Packing, Inc and they, as their father and Grandfather did, worked in every aspect of the company as they were growing up. This builds Character, Dependability and Trust.

General Manager - Central & Southern Ca. Operations
Ronnie is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He majored in ag-business with a concentration in marketing. Ronnie previously worked for Ocean Mist Farms marketing department before joining Premium Packing, Inc in 1998. Ronnie oversees the Central and Southern California harvesting and packing operations of artichokes, broccoli, celery, rappini, and also the value added packing shed. He is certified as a Red Cross First Aid and CPR instructor, HACCP implementation, forklift instructor, and drug & alcohol recognition for commercial drivers.
JESSE ALDERETE III
General Manager - Northern Ca. Operations
Jesse is a graduate of Fresno State University with a degree in ag-business. Jesse has been with the company since 2000 and oversees all Northern California operations, which includes the harvest and packing of asparagus, blueberries, cherries, apples, and pears.
General Manager - Office Controller
Sabrina is a graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She has been the office manager since 1996. Sabrina oversees all office functions and maintains healthy relationships between our office and the offices of our clients. She is also a certified pesticide trainer and Public Notary for the state of California.
Human Resources Director
Jesse graduated as Valedictorian at Saint Mary’s College with a degree in Business Administration. Jesse worked as a migrant seasonal farmworker early in his life and this experience eventually led him back to work the rest of his career in agriculture. Before starting his career in Ag. Human Resources management, Jesse had an opportunity to work for U.S. Congressman Leon Panetta as a Congressional Caseworker handling immigration and U.S. State Department matters. He also worked for the State of California’s Employment Development Department (EDD). Through this experience he gained valuable knowledge of state and federal requirements and procedures. After leaving the public sector, he returned to work in agriculture but in a management role and this is where he has worked over the past 30 years. His ability to combine his experience as a farmworker, former government employee and Ag. industry administrator has resulted in significant demonstrated achievements.
Human Resources Coordinator
Yesenia has been with Premium Packing for over 10 years. She has many duties such as worker's compensation claims, employee safety, and employee benefits to name a few. Yesenia is very talented and pleasure to work with.
Lupe is Premium Packing, Inc.'s head payroll and invoicing resource. She is responsible for most of the payroll that Premium Packing, Inc. incurs. Lupe has many years payroll experience and has worked for some of the top agricultural companies in the area.

Premium Packing is headquartered in Salinas, California but has satellite offices in Northern and Southern California, Mexicali and Central Mexico.
